What food can I leave for wild bunnies to encourage them to return to my yard?

There are wild bunnies in our neighborhood but rarely in our yard. I saw one in the front yard today. What can I do to encourage them to come back? Is there any food I can leave for them? I thought about leaving apples since our indoor bunnies love apples. I have never seen any buns in the backyard and have left carrots out in the back, I guess the fence on three sides discourages them?

I’ve tried feeding wild bunnies everything but the only thing they ever ate was apples. Their favorite thing of all is the little white clovers that bloom in the spring. If they grow in your yard leave little patches here and there.

Everything to Know About the Indoor Fences

If  you are considering keeping your dog locked in the house, tied up, or worst of all caged because of the mischief he does when allowed to roam free; such as ruining your neighbor’s garden, using another neighbor’s house as a toilet, chasing other dogs that pass by, or even snapping at pedestrians; then you might want to consider an indoor fence instead.

An indoor fence is an electronic system that trains your dog to stay away from certain places, and to keep to certain boundaries.  In lieu of a physical fence, a system of unobtrusive wire antennas are placed or even buried around the perimeter of your property, you can even put some in places within your property that are off limits to your dog.  Your dog will then wear a special collar which actually detects the presence and distance of the wire antennas.   Should your dog wander too close to the wires, he will be alerted by an ultrasonic beep , which will stop once he backs away, should your dog continue, he will receive a mild, harmless electric shock that is enough to stop him from continuing.

Some may consider the shock inhumane, in fact, the product is well developed, and the shock is harmless.  After the system is in place for just a few days, the number of incidents that a dog will venture into restricted areas per day will be almost zero.  This is far more humane than regular prolonged confinement in a small space. 

An indoor fence can really be a win-win solution for everyone concerned.  Your dog can roam around your grounds freely, he will not be a nuisance to your neighbors, or a menace to unsuspecting pedestrians, and you will enjoy the benefits of having a happy and contented dog.
